CouRageJD Officially Joins 100 Thieves As The Third Content Creator

It's official, after weeks of teasing and speculation Jack “CouRageJD” Dunlop has joined 100 Thieves. There had been rumours for a while however, when Nick “Nickmercs” Kolcheff made a sudden exit from100 Thieves it was all but confirmed.

The longtime friends CouRage and Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag announced that the popular Twitch streamer would be joining the group. He has even moved into the official team house in Los Angeles known as the “Cash App Content House”.

CouRage has not disclosed the terms of the deal he made to join 100 Thieves but has tweeted some small information regarding it. He states that it took two months to complete the deal and that over 50 people had a role in working towards completing it. What is 100 Thieves?

For those who don't know what 100 Thieves is, it's an esports organisation first and foremost. However, it does also closely link with gaming as a lifestyle so there is some crossover between esports and also a more commercial side. Founded in 2017 by Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag after he retired from competitive play as an outlet for his passions for competitive gaming, story telling and gaming related apparel.

The organization has grown extensively since then with teams in four different games and also one in the League of Legends Academy along with the Championship Series for the game. It also has a dedicated Creators team the produce content relating to esports and and gaming as a whole. The content creation team live together at the Cash App Content House.

Clothing created by 100 Thieves does sell out very quickly after the release announcement gets to social media. It's so fast that the website actually limits customers to 3 of each item per purchase in an effort to stop people purchasing to resell at higher prices on Ebay and to ensure other customers can get a piece of their clothing.

What actually is this? Well, Cash App is now the sponsor of the 100 Thieves content house in Los Angeles. The Call of Duty team for 100 Thieves was seen with a Cash App logo on their sleeve at CWL London in May so it was clear they were doing something together. Now we know that Cash App is sponsoring the content house now dubbed the “Cash App Content House LA” which it fully kitted out with filming and recording sets for content production.

100 Thieves does have other sponsors such as Red Bull and Totino's so a sponsorship is definitely nothing new to this organisation.

Currently there are three content producers living in the Cash App Content House now. The newest member is CouRageJD who is joining founder Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag and also Rachael “Valkyrae” Hofstetter.

Two New Shows

100 Thieves has revealed that two new shows will also be starting this month. The CouRage & Nadeshot Show along with a personal podcast called “Self-Made” from Nadeshot himself. The new podcast will focus on his journalist as a CEO and other esport CEOs which may be of interest to those looking into the esports industry.
